There was an old woman in a small town. she was very rich. she was living alone,she was a widow Her only son was working in a foregin country.One day she felt pain in her eyes.The pain increased after two days.she became blind after a week.She requested her neighbour to bring the eye doctor.The neighbour went to the eye doctor and told him about the old women and her blindness.
The doctor came to her house and exclaimed the old woman. He said to her, "I will cure you to resore your eye sight .But my fee is 500 rupees. if you agree to pay the fee I will begin my treatment. "
She replied :"I agree.I will pay you 500 rupees. When my eyesight is restored. "
The doctor began his treatment. He visited her every day and applied some medicine to her eyes.
The doctor was fond of costly furniture when he saw the furniture in the old womens drawing room he wish to possess them. he took away a few costly articles every day he delayed the old womens cure so that he could take away most of her costly furniture.
At last he cure her he demanded his fee.The old women found that her all furnitures are taken away by the doctor.She refused to pay the doctor and told him that her eyesight had not been restored.
The doctor filed a suit against the old women in the court of law.The court asked her why she refused to pay the doctor his fee. she said that she couldnot see all the furniture in the house.The judge found the doctor guilty and ordered him to return the furniture he had taken away from her house. the doctor returned the furniture to her house. thus the doctor was punished for his Dishonesty.
MORAL- One should never be Dishonest.It is wicked to cheat those who are helpless.The man who cheats will be punished.The Honesty is there for the best policy.
